We are All Americans
Centered America is a non-profit organization uniting disillusioned Democrats, Republicans, overlooked communities, and everyday Americans to rebuild the United States of America into a country that truly represents the people. We defend constitutional and democratic principles, fight oligarchy and fascism, and empower citizens through truth, activism, and engagement to protect our democracy.

Gavin Faivre
Co-Founder and Co-Director
Gavin Faivre is the Co-Founder and Co-Director of Centered America, a growing civic initiative dedicated to empowering a new generation of Americans to engage more thoughtfully and actively in the democratic process. A student at New Mexico State University studying business, finance, and political science, Gavin approaches civic leadership through the lens of institutional understanding, strategic thinking, and modern media engagement. In addition to his work building Centered America’s platform for political dialogue, policy discussion, and youth civic participation, he serves as Vice President of Chapter Operations for Delta Sigma Pi, where he helps lead one of the university’s premier professional business organizations. Through digital media, grassroots outreach, and conversations with emerging voices in politics and public life, Gavin is working to help cultivate a generation of citizens who are informed, engaged, and prepared to lead in shaping a more constructive and united political future.
Sharad Swaney
Co-Founder and Co-Director
Sharad is the Co-Founder and Co-Director of Centered America, where he helps lead the organization’s mission to expand civic engagement and encourage a more thoughtful generation of political participation among young Americans. While pursuing his undergraduate studies in political science and government, Sharad has played a key role in shaping the organization’s growth, helping develop its media presence, outreach strategy, and programming designed to connect younger audiences with meaningful political conversation and civic involvement. As a co-founder, he works closely on the strategic direction and expansion of Centered America’s platform, and helped lay much of the organization’s legal groundwork during its formation. Outside of his work in civic media, Sharad is also an artist and musician who writes and performs his own music. He has performed live in St. Louis, where he lives, and continues to pursue music alongside his academic and civic work. Through Centered America, Sharad is helping build a space where new voices, fresh ideas, and constructive dialogue can emerge. He believes the future of American democracy depends on citizens who are willing to engage with ideas, challenge assumptions, and contribute to the public conversation, and he is committed to helping inspire that next generation of civic leadership.
Our Mission.
Donate Now
Our mission at Centered America is to build a more unified, democratic, and people-powered nation where every American, regardless of background or political label, can see themselves in the future we are creating together.
We exist to reconnect people to purpose, to rebuild faith in a government that serves everyone, and to fight extremism not with outrage, but with action, compassion, and truth.
At Centered America, our movement does not stop at messaging. It starts with meaningful impact. We raise funds through subscriptions to our publications and through the sale of Centered America merchandise. Those proceeds supply care packages, essential goods, and financial support to communities that have been overlooked and disenfranchised. Every product and every subscription helps fund real-world change, ensuring that our mission is not just spoken, but lived.
We train organizers, amplify underrepresented voices, and build local coalitions that challenge division with solidarity. We create media that informs rather than inflames, and we invest in the communities that have too often been left behind by both parties.
Our goal is simple but ambitious: to restore the belief that democracy can work for everyone, that unity does not require uniformity, and that hope is stronger than hate. Through independent journalism, advocacy, and tangible action, Centered America strives to make politics human again and remind every American that they are seen, valued, and never alone.

No. Donations to Centered America are not tax-deductible.
Centered America operates as a political advocacy organization, which means contributions support issue advocacy, research, and public education, but they do not qualify as charitable deductions for federal income tax purposes.
Your support still makes a real impact by helping fund independent political work, reporting, and advocacy efforts that would not otherwise be possible.
-
Your support helps keep Centered America operating and effective.
Donations and proceeds help cover:
Operational costs that keep our organization, reporting, research, and advocacy running
Compensation for Centered America’s directors and core staff, allowing us to do this work full time
Ongoing support for outreach, publishing, and organizing efforts
We raise funds through subscriptions to our publications and through the sale of Centered America merchandise. Those proceeds are reinvested directly into our work, including care packages, essential goods, and financial support for communities that have been overlooked and disenfranchised.
Every subscription, every product, and every contribution helps fund real-world impact. It ensures that our mission is not just spoken, but actively carried out.

Yes. There are ways to get involved with Centered America.
We are actively building a grassroots network of community contributors.
You can help by:
Sharing videos, photos, and firsthand documentation of abuses of power or civic issues in your community
Submitting citizen journalism materials that help us identify, verify, and report on undercovered stories
Flagging local actions or policies that deserve national attention
These contributions help inform our reporting and advocacy.
We are also working to build in-person grassroots organizing efforts.
If you have documentation or information you believe is important for the public to see, email us at info@centeredamerica.org. Please include relevant context, dates, and locations when possible.

At this time, Centered America does not accept in-kind donations.
Because of the nature of our work, we are best able to operate through direct financial support, subscriptions, and merchandise sales, which allow us to respond quickly, cover operational needs, and support our advocacy and reporting efforts effectively.
We may revisit in-kind donations in the future as our organization expands.
-
Of course you can.
At this time, Centered America does not offer formal tribute or memorial donation programs, but if ou would still like to make a contribution in honor or memory of someone, you are welcome to note that intention in the optional message or memo field when donating. While we may not be able to provide formal acknowledgments, your support will still directly contribute to our work.
We may add dedicated tribute options in the future as our systems and programs expand.
